A two date 1998 Croydon extravaganza at The Gun Tavern (May 7th) and The Grouse and Claret (May 30th). Pete’s dalek costume was immediately legendary. There was a half-time costume change, so that the second half of the set had the space theme. The two Bowie songs, Ziggy Stardust and Starman, became mainstays of the set.
The second gig featured a large pink rocket on stage. I remember seeing it attempting to take off from the roof rack as we drove over Croydon flyover.
