From 2004 to 2011 we played an annual show for St. George’s Day at the Windsor Castle.
The set was always tailored to constitute all English numbers.
One year Andy went off script and launched into Delilah which prompted a stage invasion (admittedly – by only one slightly drunk reveller).
The use of feather boas as a stage effect never reached greater heights than this effort.
The end of the show would always include the band leading an audience sing-a-long of Land of Hope & Glory and, the real favourite, Jerusalem.
