January 23rd 2004 was our first Rockstock appearance. This was at The Woodstock in North Cheam – a venue where the Rolling Stones performed in 1962 .
Gary and Dave from Rockstock engaged an excellent photographer from Sutton Guardian, who took all the shots here, though at one point, in an effort to get a great shot, he steadied himself on the curtain rail and brought the whole lot down on the stage in the middle of the performance.
By the time of our July 30th performance, despite the name, Rockstock had moved home to the Charles Cryer Theatre in Carshalton.
Their Sutton’s Best Band competition gave us a chance to play on the Wallington Public Hall stage, which had hosted The Who.
